SharePoint is an enterprise collaboration platform that you can use as a secure place to store, organize, share and access information. You can use SharePoint to create websites where people inside and outside your organization can work together, and it's easy to add our maps using our File Hosting. This tutorial was written for SharePoint Online which is part of Microsoft 365. To install your map, just follow these steps:

  1. First, choose the map you want to install

  2. Customize your map using our online customization tool.

  3. Utilize our file hosting by clicking “Options” and then “Map Hosting”**

  4. Click "view your hosted map" to get the URL.

  5. Copy the URL.

  6. The url should look something like this:

  7. Go to your SharePoint homepage and select the website where you want the map to be shown.

  8. Once on the website, select the web page and click "Edit".

  9. Select the "+" sign on the left side and add one column.

  10. Hit the "+" at the top and search for "Embed".

  11. Now, we need to paste the embedded code given below with the index URL that you copied in Step 5. Click "Add embed code" to save your map.

    Copy the following <iframe> code and replace:
    with your own url that you copied in Step 5.

    <iframe src="" style="border:0px #ffffff none;" name="myiFrame" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" marginheight="0px" marginwidth="0px" height="400px" width="600px" allowfullscreen=""></iframe>

    You can also adjust the width and height based on your map

  12. You should be able to see your map by now, click "Republish" to save all the changes made to your website.
